Sharon C. Lacy Carter was born March 17, 1961, to Burnice and Gussie Lacy of Batchelor, Louisiana, she accepted Christ at a young age at Saint Mark Baptist Church. She is a 1979 graduate of Batchelor High School. She moved to Clute, Tx where she found her life love when met Donald "D.C" Carter, they were married in 1991 and were longtime residents of Clute with their son Adrian Carter. She was a devoted employee for Excel Industries at Shintech located in Freeport Tx. Whether you knew her as Mrs. Carter, Aunt Tudy, or even Toots, you knew you had just met one the most kindhearted, yet stern person ever. She left us on Tuesday September 23, 2025, and ascended to rejoin her loved ones that have gone on before her, she is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Samuel, Fred, Don, sister Pearl, brother-in-law James Franklin and sister-in-law Judy nephew Samuel Jr and great-niece Yveone Samuel. She is survived by her bonus son Adrian Carter, bothers Gussie Jr (Callie), Earl (Diane), Charles (Donna), Jerry (Patrick) and Doyle Ray Lacy and sisters Lydia, Karen Lacy and Janet (Bobby) Honore, sister in laws Susan and Shirley Lacy; special nieces Jsyann Lacy-King and Ja'Shayla Lacy and nephew JaMarcus Lacy close cousins Imma(Leonard) Reed and Steve Brown a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, beloved friends and co-workers.
