Miss Maggie J. Jefferson was called to her eternal resting place on Wednesday September 25th 2019 at her residence in Humble, Tx. surrounded by her family. She was born to Reverend Henry Jackson and Lugola Coleman Jackson on June 25th 1943 in Heflin, La. She was educated in the Webster Parish school system and studied at Grambling State University in Gramblng, LA.
Ms. Jefferson married Eddie L. Jefferson in December 1969, to this union they raised four children.Mrs. Jefferson was a devoted mother to her children.She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Bethel's Family Church under the leadership of Pastor Walter August. She worked faithfully in the church prior to her failing health. Mrs. Jeffson had a long and varied employment history, she worked at the Army Ammunition Plant in Minden, Louisiana, she then moved with her family to Houston,Texas where she worked as a key-punch operator for the Houston Police Department.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister Lizzie J. Roberson of Houston Texas. She leaves to cherish the memories her sister Mrs. Ernie J. Hadnot of Alexandria Louisiana; her children Tyrone L. Jefferson of Houston, Kechia M and Bridget M. Jefferson both of Humble, Texas, Cartever and husband Randall Fontenot of Houston, Texas; Her grandchildren Corey, Kourtney and Cannon; and her 2 great grandchildren Jahvon and Kaleb Jefferson who she loved dearly.
