Kendrick Javor Lewis, lovingly known as Kenny, was born on April 23, 1977, to Alice Faye Lewis and Sherman Baldridge Jr. in Bay City, Texas. He grew up in the city of West Columbia, Tx. and attended West Columbia public school system. At a young age, Kenny's vibrant spirit and infectious enthusiasm touched the lives of everyone around him, and he had an uncanny ability with numbers that stayed with him throughout his life. Kenny's joy of football extended beyond just watching games. He loved to engage in friendly banter with his friends who supported other teams, always ready with a playful tease. And when the Eagles won, you would hear him say or write on Facebook, "Fly Eagles Fly,"
Kenny's extended family and friends were an integral part of his life. He was known for his warm heart and generous spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand or host a gathering. In his professional life, Kenny was equally dedicated and passionate. While he was employed by Turner Industries, he built a successful career as a pipefitter/boilermaker where he was known for his hard work, integrity, and commitment to excellence. His colleagues admired his ability to tackle challenges with a positive attitude and his unwavering dedication to his work. Kenny's professional achievements were a source of pride for his family and friends, and his contributions to his field will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of working with him.
Kenny was a cherished son, a devoted father and grandfather, a loyal brother. He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Alice Faye Brown and father Sherman Baldridge Jr., stepfather Henry Lee Brown, brothers Harry Douglas and Andre Baldridge, grandmothers Clara Johnson and Pearle Baldridge, grandfather Leon Lewis Sr. and other beloved uncles and aunts.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory daughters Kashayla Villarreal of Baytown, Tx., and Trinidy High of West Columbia, Tx., son Trevon Lewis of West Columbia, Tx., and grandson Legend Scott of Baytown, Tx., brothers Kevin Brown (Ninfa) of West Columbia, Tx., Sherman Lewis of Clute, Tx., Vincent Baldridge (Noelia) of , Rosenberg, Tx., Omar Baldridge (DaNisha) of Needville, Tx., Jeffrey Baldridge of West Columbia, Tx., and Sherman Baldridge of Santa Fe, Tx., sisters Shemeka Brown of Lake Jackson, Tx., Kenya Randon of Brazoria, Tx., and Sarah Terrazas-Holmes (long time devoted friend) of West Columbia, Tx. and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
