Courtney LaChelle Jackson, age 36, of Houston, Texas, passed away on May 11, 2026, in Houston, Texas. She was born in Tylertown, Mississippi, and was a beloved wife, dedicated mother, daughter, sister, and sister in Christ. Courtney was the daughter of Tony Pittman, whose life and legacy are acknowledged with respect and reverence. She was lovingly raised by her mother, Bridget Fisher, and her devoted stepfather, Donald Fisher, who stepped into her life with love, commitment, and consistency, helping nurture and support the woman she became. Courtney met her husband, Gregory Irons, while they were in high school. Their bond grew into 17 years of love, life, and devotion. She was a dedicated mother to J’Darian Neal, age 19, and Symari Irons, age 12, loving them deeply and giving them her strength, patience, and heart. She leaves to cherish her memory her siblings: Jynisha Fisher, Jaelon Fisher, Ashani Pittman, Shatoni Pittman, and Paris Pittman. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Pittman Jr. Courtney loved food, movies, music, dancing, and her favorite shows, including NCIS, The Blacklist, and Law & Order: SVU. She also had a special love for children, and her warmth, patience, and gentle spirit made that love evident to those around her. She was kind, honest, patient, and full of light. She spoke the truth in love and was deeply loved by many. Courtney was baptized on January 13, 2019, at The Israel of God Houston. Though she faced many health challenges over the years, including diabetes, kidney failure, loss of sight, strokes, heart attacks, and other complications, she continued to overcome with faith and strength. She never allowed her condition to take away her beauty, her spirit, or her love for others. Courtney was not a victim; she was an example of endurance, grace, and faithfulness. Her love and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Revelation 2:10
