Christopher James Brown also known as Chris was born on August 21, 1968 to Clemis Brown and Louise Miller Brown in Bay City, TX. He attended West Columbia High graduating in the class of 1986. After high school Chris enlisted into the U.S. Army. He was excited and ready to serve his country. After a shortwhile in the army, Chris went on to attend Prairie View A&M University where his major was Business Management.
Chris confessed Christ at an early age. He was uable to attend church most of the time becasue of his health, but he believed in prayer and trusted God. Chris was always thankful for the prayers he and his mother shared. Chris's strong faith in God enabled him to live life to the fullest without pitty or bitterness. No matter what the circumstance were at the time, Chris always knew that God would take care of him. Chris is preceded in death by both paternal and maternal grand-parents, and father Lawrence Grice Sr.
Chris leaves to cherish the precious memories two sons Zachary Brown and Maury Brown; mother Louise Grice; brothers Kevin Grice (Jenniene), Clemis Brown Jr., Lawrence Grice Jr. (Donna), Darren Grice Sr. (Susie), and Terrence Grice; sisters Valerie Brown and Loretta Grice; aunts Pearl Perry (Reginald), and Joyce Wiggins; uncles Roosevelt Allen, Arnold Brown, and Sherman Franklin; a host of neices, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
